Your body does an incredible job of cleansing itself of all the toxins we put into it. I like to compare it to the way we reboot a computer. The primary goal is to release toxins. However, I also think it is a great tool for other reasons. We want to see how our body reacts when we eliminate different foods. For instance, you may find you feel much less bloated when you eliminate dairy. You may feel more energetic when you have a juice or smoothie. Lastly, it is a great way to mentally reset after over indulging.
This is a wonderful short term investment in your body and in your whole being. I designed this myself – this is not the sort of detox plan you find everywhere online. I won’t ask you to starve yourself or give up food. Together we will eat clean and healthy. Back to basics!
